Highcliffe is perfectly located close to the picturesque bustling harbour town of Falmouth. A gentle stroll takes you to the new National Maritime Museum at the harbour side, then through the cobbled main street to the town centre and the Prince of Wales pier. Here ferries leave for harbour crossings to St Mawes, and regular boat trips ply along the coast and up the River Fal.
Highcliffe is just 100 metres from the seafront and the broad sweep of Falmouth bay.
A pleasant easy walk, or scenic drive from Highcliffe, takes you around the headland crowned by Pendennis Castle, and gives wonderful views across the bay.
Also close by is The Princess Pavilion, presenting live theatre and entertainment throughout the year. The venue also provides a delightful 'biergarten' and café.
From Falmouth railway station (5 mins from Highcliffe) there is a regular service to the Cathedral city of Truro, (13 miles away). The Eden Project, Helston, St Ives, Lands End and the beautiful Cornish north coast are a gentle drive away.
